BSP supports National Mask and Warwagira Festival
“Promoting and preserving our culture through community engagement and youth empowerment ensures our cultures are kept alive for future generations and continues to unite Papua New Guinea,” says BSP Kokopo Branch Manager Kalat Tiriman.
Speaking during the presentation of sponsorship support towards the 2023, National Mask and Warwagira Festival today, Tuesday 11th July, 2023, in Kokopo, Mrs Tiriman said, BSP as a community and people’s bank is proud to support a cultural event that is important to the people of East New Britain.
“As a home-grown bank we are pleased to continue our partnership with the National Mask & Warwagira Festival Committee and support another successful festival this week, commencing Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th July, 2023.
“The Festival has always attracted large crowds to East New Britain providing other spin-off benefits that our local SMEs can benefit from. Since its inception, the National Mask and Warwagira Festival has grown from strength to strength and BSP is always happy to support,” she said.
“BSP has been supporting the National Mask & Warwagira Festival since 2011, and we are proud to be supporting the festival again this year with a Silver Sponsorship of K10, 000,” the Kokopo Branch Manager added.
Apart from supporting such festivals, BSP is proud to be serving East New Britain through our Kokopo, Rabaul, Kerevat and Palmalmal branches, 25 BSP Agents, 16 ATMs, 300+ EFTPoS and we continue to deliver our 27 and counting Community Projects.
