BSP Gives Facelift to Antenatal Shelter
Bank South Pacific (BSP) handed over a refurbished waiting shelter and a newly installed water tank to 6 Mile Antenatal Clinic, in the Nation's Capital on Monday 23rd December.
The staff of the BSP Boroko branch through the BSP Community Project initiative recently completed renovation and extension of the waiting shelter for pregnant mothers to sit and consult with doctors and clinicians.
The renovation saw an extension of the waiting area, maintenance on the existing roof which had leaks and a brand new water tank was installed.
"We have over 33 00 0 catchment of mothers who access the facility her to get services, and thank you BSP for providing such a facility for our mothers to access, " said Dr Garo from NCD Health.
The project which cost around K25, 000 was gratefully received by the clinic.

Our vision also aligns BSP to be the leading financial services provider in our chosen markets helping customers, staff, shareholders and communities prosper, said Ruby Patu, Branch Manager of BSP Boroko Branch.
The program concluded with the cutting of ribbon to formally handover the newly refurbished antenatal waiting area and brand new water tank.
BSP Community Projects are undertaken nationwide by each branch and Strategic Business Unit including the Pacific Islands where it operates in.
The Community Project initiative is focused on Education, Health, Sports, Environment and other community initiatives and by end of this year, BSP PNG would have delivered 49 projects to the tune of K1.2m.
