BSP Donates K10, 000 to Kidney Foundation
BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) continues to commit to investing in lives of Papua New Guineans when donating a cheque worth K10,000 to PNG Kidney Foundation Inc. today (Wednesday 23RD February,2022) to support its operations in the country.
BSP's Chief Insurance Officer, Dean Ani when presenting the cheque to PNGKF said, “We acknowledge the work of PNG Kidney Foundation in the country and we want to do our part to ensure our communities get the much needed support they need.”
“We donated a 15-seater bus valued at K122, 000 in 2020, and this year, 2022, we are pleased to once again lend a hand in supporting the expansion and operation of the program in the country. Our support towards the foundation ensures that it provides access to much needed medical instruments and necessities that support the operation of PNGKF in the country,” said Ani.
Ani added that: “BSP is a proud longstanding financial institution in the Pacific and we are committed to providing support where we can to assist our people in each community that we operate in. By supporting this course, we are able to make a difference.”
PNG Kidney Foundation Chairman Sir Martin Poh acknowledged BSP for its continued support in ensuring the Foundation continues providing significant help to people in need for a second chance in life.

“Most people have never heard of kidney disease until it affects them, or someone they care about. Equipping ourselves with the much needed medical tools from the support provided to us by corporate organisation like BSP is of high regard,” says Sir Poh.
“As a non-profitable charity organisation, we embrace the significant support that gives us the chance to provide knowledge to our staff, trainings, conduct awareness and make available the support needed by people diagnosed with this health problem,” added Sir Poh.
“We are grateful that this may now help with continuing our plans to expand the program to Kundiawa and Rabaul. We are currently conducting training for our doctors and nursing staff in Kundiawa,” he added.
